Biography
Mohsen Jabbarzadeh was a 41-year-old married currency exchanger who was killed by direct gunfire during protests in the Salsabil neighborhood of Tehran on January 9, 2026. He sustained a severe gunshot wound to the leg and passed away from rapid blood loss before his brother could get him to Madaen Hospital. His family was reportedly forced to pay for the release of his body and was denied the right to hold a funeral service.
محسن جبارزاده، صراف ۴۱ ساله و متأهل اهل تهران، در شامگاه ۱۹ دی ۱۴۰۴ در جریان اعتراضات محله سلسبیل بر اثر شلیک مستقیم نیروهای امنیتی به پایش جان باخت. شدت جراحت به حدی بود که او در عرض ۱۵ دقیقه دچار خونریزی شدید شد و پیش از رسیدن به بیمارستان مدائن درگذشت. گزارش شده است که خانواده وی برای تحویل پیکر مجبور به پرداخت وجه شدند و اجازه برگزاری مراسم سوگواری به آنها داده نشد.
